Articles published in Acta Life are disseminated under a Creative Commons license (CC-BY 4.0) (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
Copyright
The authors maintain unrestricted copyright and publishing rights, and they consent to the unrestricted use, copying, and redistribution of their original work in any format without requiring permission, provided that the authors and the source are appropriately cited.Copyright statements are included in the metadata of full text files. Before formal publication, authors grant Acta Life the right of first publication by executing a License to Publish agreement. In the cover letter accompanying the manuscript, authors are required to warrant that no duplicate submissions, manuscripts that have already been published, or those that are undergoing processing by other journals are present. An analogous declaration ought to be included when authors finalize their criteria before submitting their work. It is necessary to obtain permission before incorporating copyrighted materials (figures or tables) from other sources, including those that have been republished, adapted, modified, or taken in part from the internet, into the work.
